Days of Grace

Very Comfy Hotel

Finally…I managed to find time to discipline myself and start typing again to update my blog.  As the year is coming to a close there are a few stuff lined up and most of us will be busy in some way or other.  So I better start posting before I get stuck with my laziness and busyness!

I want to share some pictures of the hotel we stayed in while in Penang. Its an heritage hotel…ta daa….Eastern and Oriental Hotel!!  An all suite hotel!!

I will just put the pictures up and explain abit. The photos aren’t clear as they were shot by this blur person, yours truly 😛

Let's take a peek into the bathroom!

Let's peep in the bathroom!

Very spacious bathroom with a sink on either side.

The Farquhar Bar...I had a good laugh a couple of nights hearing the entertainment whilst using the hotel internet across the bar.

These are the photos snapped in the hotel.  The room we stayed in is the cheapest and smallest suite they have…but it is a huge room!  I forgot to take pictures of the complimentary breakfast, very good spread for a breakfast.  We had very comfortable 4 days stay day…in fact most of our time were spent in the hotel other than my cousin’s wedding (my next post) or out eating (after wedding post)!

P/s  Sorry about the pictures lining up in the centre…I am still figuring out how to post the pictures side by side.

  1. Looks like a wonderful place! Looks expensive though… anyway your photos look fine. If you want to put them side by side you will have to put your photos in a table… but I’m not sure if there’s an easy way to do that.

nancy said: Yes…it is an expensive wonderful place…mainly for expatriates but we get to enjoy the stay for free! So blessed la!
Thanks for the idea about the photos…will look into that! 🙂

About the switches…I was so intrigued by them…so dainty and unique…if I am not mistaken, I think they are as old as the hotel!
