Days of Grace

Best Penang Food Marathon final days!

On our third day and fourth (final) day we slowed down, for the very reason of our cousin’s wedding and the traveling back on the final day.

First, cousin’s wedding.  We had tea ceremony, below are some pictures to share that.

Oops!!…I forgot, before driving over to cousin’s apartment for the tea ceremony, we dropped by Kimberly Street for Duck Meat Koay Teow Th’ng, the picture posted below.

Slics of duck meat, fish balls and intestines...if we had time we would have ordered the duck wings and legs!

P. Can we find that in KL?

Fried chicken skin snack...very unhealthy but deliciously sinful :P. Can we find that in KL?

On the way back to the hotel after the wedding dinner, we drove by Gurney Drive and bought ourselves a sinful snack, picture shown on the  left.

The next day before leaving for Ipoh to meet an uncle, we stopped by Pulau Tikus to grab some snacks and had breakfast there (Mee Mamak again at Bangkok Lane).

That was sis leaving through the revolving door...saying good bye to the comfy hotel.

At Ipoh, uncle took us for more food!  And they were very yummy!

The famous Ipoh Hor Fun (koay teow soup), very delicious...so hungry was I that I didnt ask for the name of the coffee shop!

That was how the car was loaded by the time we were leaving for home (KL). Our luggages, pomeloes, lots of food stuff!!!

We cut down on buying some items just in case we overload the car!

It was a good trip back…to be there for our cousin and to witness her wedding, to indulged and satisfy our cravings and also spending time with my parents and siblings.  Not forgetting that I managed to catch up with childhood friends!

The end of our Best Penang Hawker food eating spree!
